David A. Crumbaugh, CPA

David A. Crumbaugh, is a longtime CPA, entrepreneur, and sought-after speaker on tax, business development, and strategic alliance relationship development. He is a partner with Rick C. Reed & Company, PLLC, with offices in San Marcos and Belton.

Over his 30 years in the accounting profession, he has assisted clients with tax compliance, tax strategies, and IRS and state audits. Meanwhile, David has written and conducted several CPE classes presented to staff and public accountants across the state and the country. His keynotes and workshops on business development and strategic alliance strategies to business professionals across the country are in demand.

In addition, David has served in various roles with TXCPA Austin and on the Practice Issues Committee of TXCPA. In July 2022, he will start a three-year term as a Director-at-Large on the TXCPA Board of Directors. He has also provided CPE course reviews for the Texas State Board of Public Accountancy. Additionally, David completed TXCPA Austin's Leadership Academy and has volunteered many times at the CPA Swearing-In Ceremony held in Austin.

Besides co-authoring the book Tips to Becoming an Efficient and Effective Networker in 2015, David has written articles for professional journals and newsletters.
